While our parents were traveling on vacation in Florida our mother-in-law who has been suffering with muscular dystrophy for quite some years started having seizures and was life flighted to Saint Joseph hospital. She had four unexplainable grand mal seizures that has left her in a state of weakness and is now on a ventilator fighting to get her strength back. Her three sons and families all traveled down in an emergency and have been here the last week with her and her husband. Unfortunately the progress is very slow and we’re desperately trying to get her back to Cleveland to be treated at the Cleveland clinic. We have found an emergency Airbus that is able to transport her once the doctors approve it. The expenses just to get everyone down here and the hotel stays and the meals have become insurmountable and the transfer alone is over $14,000. The families have started all to travel back home and her husband is down here alone in Florida. We are trying to get the approval for the transfer as quickly as possible. Time is of the essence and any help for Cathy to get her home is appreciated. This is the last resort to get her back with her family in Cleveland.
