WHAT YOU ARE DOING
Through a very small donation of €2-10, helping create a song dedicated to the students and alumni of UWC Atlantic College.
WHAT YOU GET
Of course, those who contribute even €2 and provide an email will receive an .mp3 of the finished song. It is guaranteed to have an emotional effect ranging from a pleasant sense of nostalgia to uncontrollable blubbering, donning of old hoodies and contacting of a travel agent.
WHO WROTE THE SONG?
An original song was composed and performed by Arjun R. and Bram J. of the class of 2013. It was then revised and broadened in scope by Adam S. (me, English teacher, asst. Sunley houseparent and Environmental Faculty enthusiast) in 2014-15 to serve as a tribute to the graduates and a memento of the AC experience.

WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?
When my family left AC last year, we left behind our hearts in many respects. As we prepared to go, I took as a foundation a song that the above students and their bandmates played at the Leaver's Dinner in 2013, and adapted it into a new song that (I believe and others have assured me) truly and poignantly captures the ups and downs, ins and outs of the unique and amazing experience that is AC life. It's called "Farewell, Farewell (Castle by the Sea)," and it is meant to bring graduates to tears and alums to the travel agent to set up their next visit to St Donat's.
Please can you help me record this song for UWC Atlantic College?
A group of graduates tried to help me do a recording last year, but there wasn't time to get it done and the engineer did not follow up before everyone had left campus for the summer.
Please help me out with a small donation. I am hopeful students and recent grads can toss in €2 to €5, and wistful alumni (with jobs), up to €10. Every little bit helps. Note I will be putting a substantial amount of my own funds into this; this campaign is to help me afford more than a bare-bones recording.
If you and I can get this together quickly, I am hopeful it can be made a part of the closing events this year for one of my favorite graduating classes of all time.

I am working with an engineer in Erlangen, Germany.
HOW MUCH IS NEEDED?
If you can help me raise €120, it helps cover a very basic recording of the song. If we raise €200, percussion and harmonies can be added to make it a really fine thing. Any extra funding beyond the actual cost will be donated to charity.
