The Cassopolis RoboRangers are starting their 7th season! We had a very successful year in 2017, qualifying to compete at the World Championship!
Attending Worlds is expensive and now we are in need of raising money to replenish our coffers for this season.
How you can help:
We need to raise $18,000 to fully fund our budget this year. Anything you can give to help us achieve our fund raising goal will be greatly appreciated!
About our team:
We come from an economically challenged area. 57% of our school students qualify for free and reduced lunch. Our goal with robotics is to provide students opportunities to learn engineering and business skills that will help them be successful in life. We keep our dues low so that as many students as possible can participate in robotics. We have an amazing group of mentors who volunteer countless hours to give our kids one-on-one guidance and instruction.
Our program is very successful. We've won 9 awards in our 6 years. We have mentored other teams and engage in community outreach year-round. We have students every year who decide to pursue careers in technology after their experiences in robotics.
