Casey is a wonderful friend, therapist, mother, and much more. Unfortunately, yesterday Casey has passed away due to an unfortunate automobile accident. Casey was expecting her second child at the time of the accident who also has passed away as well. I know there isn’t much that can help heal the pain that Casey’s family is experiencing but I know we can come together to help them in their time of need. Casey’s family will have medical expenses and funeral costs to cover and would greatly appreciate anything to help. I am a friend and coworker of Casey, and all donations will go to her family. We all loved Casey very much and I know she would’ve done the exact same for anyone else in this position.

I can’t believe how time moves so quickly. It’s truly unfair that life moves on with the people that we miss the most. Although we miss Casey and Simon, I know that they are looking down on us smiling. —wrapping us all in their beautiful wings. As today is the last day for donations, I want to once again say thank you. This was simply not possible without anyone of you! I hope in your time of silence and grief you all remember the love Casey had for you. She will always be there when we need her the most, heaven is just one prayer away!

Please feel free to contact me for Matt and Casey’s address. I know Matt, Tyson, and Casey’s family will always need continual blessings as they transition into this life physically without Casey and Simon.

Today was absolutely beautiful in honoring Casey’s life. The church filled with so much love and sadness as we celebrated Casey & simon’s life. We can all agree that Casey’s abscense on earth is something we will feel as we physically move forward in life. Although gone, she and Simon will never be forgotten. In everything we’ve done, in all our giving, I ask for you all to take a moment and reflect on the memories you’ve built with Casey in our lifetime . Today was not goodbye, but more of a “see you soon”. In your moment of reflection, I hope you all take the time to smile. I say smile, because every time we were around Casey that’s what we were doing.

In regards to gofundme, they will not release any funds until December 27th. Although it’s not what I wanted it will give everyone more time to donate. I have decided that after the 27th we will no longer be open to donations. Please help by purchasing food/gas cards or sending cards to Matt and Casey’s family. Again, none of this could’ve been possible without any of you. I can not begin to express how humbled and moved I am by all of you. For now, live on the way Casey would. —Love deeper, laugh harder, and never forget that life’s too short to be anything but happy.

5:30 pm we walked up to the church to see that the line was out the door. Although it was cold, it was amazing to see the amount of people whom Casey impacted in one small space. As the church filled with many tears and hugs, one thing was evident: Casey instilled so much happiness in everyone she met; she was truly an angel walking on earth. Casey's parents thanked me for this fundraiser and hugged me tight.-- I told them that it wasn't just me but it was us. We created this peace of mind that let Casey's parents fall into my arms and we have shown them that they aren't alone. In all your giving, I ask you to give a little more. I will not withdraw any funds until our recent goal is achieved. You all are amazing and I know together we can do anything. Tonight, I missed Casey's smile .

Today has already begun hard for all of us and it hasn’t even started. As we gather today to remember Casey and all the good times she has brought to our lives , please take a look around and realize what we’ve accomplished. We’ve accomplished a sense of peace for Matt and Casey’s family and we were able to eliminate any financial burden they may have . This will allow them to solely concentrate on healing and family. As we all transition into a new life physically without this beautiful soul, know that Casey & Simon are watching down on us smiling. I’m forever greatful for everyone during this time. Today, be strong.
