My name is Carter, I am seven years old and I live in Southern Oregon. I like playing with my dogs, going to school to see my friends and reading books! I love meatloaf and ice cream! I have a rare genetic disorder called (PKAN).  http://rarediseases.org/rare-diseases/pantothenate-kinase-associated-neurodegeneration/ The odds for getting this genetic disorder is one per million and I am one of three documented cases in Oregon with this disorder! My Mom and Dad work full time and are doing their best to support and care for me. They love me so much and are doing everything they can for me.  I am going to need lots of visits to my specialists in Portland and new equipment. Please help me and my family if you can so I can help fight and find a cure.
