Carson Graham Improv Nationals 2017

Carson Graham Improv has qualified for the 2017 Canadian Improv Games National Tournament! This is our fourth trip to nationals in five years, and as always we only have a short time to fundraise from the time we qualify. The team is thrilled to be travelling to Ottawa, Ontario, from April 18th to 23rd 2017, to compete at the highest level of the largest and most geographically dispersed theatre festival in Canada. Our trip will include performances at the National Arts Centre, a tour of parliament, and a visit to Quebec. We are so proud to be representing Carson Graham Secondary and the City of North Vancouver at the national tournament.

There are ten students on the team travelling to nationals. Unfortunately, this trip is cost-prohibitive for our team members and their families. We believe that students who come from low-income families should have equal access to this artistic and cultural experience in our nation’s capital, that they have qualified for. With that in mind, we are fundraising to give all of our players access to this opportunity. The community in North Vancouver has generously donated to our last three campaigns, including significant contributions from the City of North Vancouver and the Carson Graham PAC. We are grateful for all the support we have received, ensuring all of our students have access to this exceptional experience where they have earned a chance to compete at the national level.
