4 students, the summit of Mount Toubkal (4,167 m), and 15 kg of extra weight on our backs to raise funds for The Porter Voice Collective.

Around the world, porters carry out grueling backbreaking labor, often in deplorable conditions. To raise awareness and shed light on this issue, we Noa Smit, Faas Henssen, Kevin Gnade and Robert Vincentie are climbing Mount Toubkal at the end of October, with 15kg extra weight.

We will not only brave the high altitude, but we’re also quite literally carrying the load to raise funds for The Porter Voice Collective. This organization fights for fair working conditions, safety, and recognition for porters across the outdoor and tourism industries.
