Carolina Mock Trial Fundraiser

Hi family and friends!

As many of you know, Carolina Mock Trial is a huge part of our lives. We spend countless hours memorizing case materials, practicing our roles, and traveling to other universities to compete.

Each year, our organization pays for a total of four teams of six to eight people to travel up and down the East Coast and stay in hotels over the course of weekend-long tournaments. We try to keep our dues relatively low to ensure that all members can participate. Usually, we rely on funding from the university to help pay for these competitions. However, this year, our funding has been delayed, and we have been forced to search for other ways to fund these important and incredible opportunities.

This is why we are reaching out to you--the people who have helped support us in so many ways already--to ask if you would be willing to help us ensure that all members will continue to be able to participate. If you have spent even a little bit of time with us in the past few years, I'm sure you've been forced to listen to how much Carolina Mock Trial means to us, and it would mean the world to each and every one of our members if you could help us continue to compete.

All of the funds will be used to directly pay for the cost of gas and accomodation for our members to travel and compete this semester. We are so incredibly thankful to have had the opportunity to represent UNC and hope we will be able to continue to do so.
