Carole Dawn's Mystery Disease

 Hi, I am Carole Dawn Arrendale-Emerson and this is how most of you know me!
But over the last year I have gotten pretty sick and it has made me so weak and tired I can't work anymore or do the things I love like teach kids, rasie money for non-profits that help children and families or any or the other stuff that makes me happy.
This is me lately.

Insurance helps but it still has cost over $10,000 so far in out of pocket money and they are still trying to find the cause of my illness.  Now a new deductible year has started and I have used up my savings and my retirement so I don't have another place to pull from to pay for the upcoming testing and medication.  And I can no longer work.  Applying for disability takes a long time and they like to deny you the first time.

So, now I come to you, my friends, pasts parents of my students, people I used to work for and raise money for and those I have met along lifes way.  It is very humbling to ask for help and  I wouldn't ask if I didn't really need it. 

Every little bit helps and no donation is too small.  Those that know me know that I am a giver and that this is so hard for me to ask.

I would appreciate it if you would share this.  There is strength in numbers.  So maybe, just maybe, if all of the people I have touched over the years pull together and do a little, a miracle might happen.  Please put me in your prayers and send positive energy to me, my family, my doctors and all involved with my care and healing.  Thank you for all of the kind words, offers of spending time with me so I don't go crazy while I can;t work, phone calls, emails, Facebook posts and advice on alternative healing.  Your caring and compassion keeps my spirits high!  Thank you again for taking a moment to read this and pass this along to others.
