My name is Tommy Flournoy from Portland, TX.
Carlos & I have been friends for over 25yrs, and in fact I consider him & his family as part of my family.
He and his family were caught in the flooding in San Marcos and lost all of their belongings. I have started this GoFundMe campaign to help Carlos and his family purchase items they are in need of such as clothing, furniture, dishes, bedding, and any other necessities as everything was destroyed that was inside their home.
Carlos will have direct access to this GoFundMe account so that he and his family have direct access to the generous donations all of you have provided .

For those of you who know Carlos & Kandi and their family - no words are necessary. For anyone who hasn't been blessed with their friendship no words can suffice to what wonderful people and what a wonderful family they are.
Early this morning, Sunday May 24th, 2015 they awoke to floodwaters entering their home. As the water rose to a level over most of their heads, the family found some reprieve from the rising floodwaters by climbing to their rooftop. Thankfully, a short time later they were then rescued from atop their home by the U.S. Army!
Unfortunately, they lost everything as you can see from the video. All of their belongings, their clothes, their vehicles, everything.
They are truly humble in the news video, but they literally have to completely start over.
If you feel it in your heart to help Carlos, his wife, and their children we ask that you do whatever you can. We have set up this page to help get the word out to everyone that can help, but you can also donate or help in person.
If you know this wonderful family, or you feel it in your heart to help out, they will be genuinely thankful for ANY amount.
