Dear Friends,
For those of you who knew and loved Carlos, you understand that he lived his life to the fullest. For those of you who never had the pleasure of meeting him, we regret that one of the lights of the world was extinguished before you had an opportunity to connect with him personally.
Carlos looked for joy in every opportunity and he dove in deep. He was always the life of the party and never said no to a chance to be with friends and family, no matter the circumstances. He never tired and was always planning his next move to grab the world by its horn and give it a great big kiss.
Carlos crammed more living into his 53 years than many of us will ever do during the years we are granted. We lost him far too soon and we will all miss him profoundly.
Now we must honor his legacy and care for those whom he left behind and who need us most: his wife of seven months, the remarkable Jennifer Deupi, and his children, Isabella, Felipe, Nicholas, and Sofia. Our goal is to alleviate their burden of worrying about the financial concerns of bringing him home from Colorado, where he passed away so unexpectedly, and to provide Carlos with a fitting service to honor his life.
