Courtney is a woman of light. She is intelligent and insightful, powerful, clever, and compassionate. She is an amazing mother of three beautiful children and a relentless advocate for justice.

Courtney is also one of the first victims of Trump's insurance rollbacks and Texas' ruthless sabatoge of women's health. She has been in and out of the hospital this past month and, until her Medicaid appeal gets processed, she cannot pay for the medicines so critical for her recovery.

Please contribute to CaringForCourtney. Please keep this woman of light shining brilliantly.

I don't have the money to get back.

*full disclosure* I'm too excited about getting treated to care about that right now lol.

Thanks you

Health update:

My cancer has spread to my pancreas. It's still in the earlier stages and I do have a fairly good chance of living a cancer free life... with your help.

I'm in need of $700 by Friday in order to get to the Dempsey center in Maine. The center has agreed to treat me basically for free but I need to get there. The $700 will help with air fare and lodging will out of town. Every little bit helps. Thanks in advance.

It's months after the storm and many flooded families
(Mine included) are still displaced. More than half of the families forced out of their homes are still in hotels and still are without cars.

There are currently 7 families in need of additional assistance. Three families with pets and children under 10 are currently days away from homelessness with the other families in desperate need of transportation and child care services.

I'm currently attempting to raise money to help with rent, gas, and bus cards.

You know the drill. Every little bit helps.

Hi my name is Courtney Chylane mother of 3, New Orleans native. This year on the 12th anniversary of hurricane Katrina I celebrated by swimming out of my living room here in Houston.

Every thing I own can now fit in a trash bag (not even thick black construction site trash bag either. I'm talking about 500 bags on clearance at dollar tree for .25¢ type of  trash bags)

Even if you are unable to donate at this time please share this post until it reaches someone that can.
