Caring for Carolyn's Kids

Donation protected
Carolyn was only 33 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. For the past five years she fought bravely to beat the disease and do whatever she could to stay alive for her family.

Her devoted husband John and her young sons John Pierre, 8, and William, 6, watched her suffer greatly but also watched her fight fiercely to extend her time with them as family meant everything to her.

Carolyn lost her own mother to ovarian cancer when she was in college - a driving force behind her attempt to avoid that fate and shield her young boys from the pain of a similar loss. She fought her illness  with new treatments, trials, and anything she could think of that would give her more time with John and the boys.

While Carolyn recently lost her long battle with cancer at the age of 39, the journey for her loving husband and sweet children she left behind is far from over. John has to face life as a single father without the woman he has called a partner and best friend since falling in love with her in high school. John Pierre and William have lost their biggest champion and advocate and are only beginning to process the magnitude of their loss for years to come.  Carolyn won't be there to proudly cheer them on at school shows or sporting events, help them with homework or watch them become the bright, respectful and caring young adults she's taught them to be.

John and the boys need so much support to rebuild their lives and begin to confront a new normal. They have each other to lean on, as well as extended family and friends, but they will need much more to alleviate the financial and emotional burden of their loss.

Please donate whatever you can to help them through this trying time. Contributions will help with mounting bills, funeral costs, medical costs, childcare etc.

By donating in Carolyn’s memory you will do your part to alleviate just some of the worry and stress resulting from her death. Carolyn was a devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. She was the embodiment of all things good, loving, and giving so please give back to her family in her memory.
