Caring for my Dying Husband

I am Nancy Tuuk Davis, wife of Geoffrey Davis for 29 fulfilling, loving and sometimes difficult years. Geoffrey was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in July of 2015. He received the best chemo and radiation treatment possible in Seattle, but the cancer spread to his lungs.
On November 5th, Geoffrey decided to accept his cancer and declined more chemo. We quickly relocated back to Grand Rapids, MI to be close to family and friends. He was given 9 months to live.
As so many of you know, cancer has its way with the body and his decline has been more rapid than expected. I have been working full time and caring for my husband on this journey to heaven. And our daughter Sophie has been at my side as caregiver extraordinaire, covering for me while I work.
But it is time to move to a level of more intensive care as Geoffrey loses physical and mental strength.
For the last month or two of his life on earth, I want to be home with my husband. He has charmed and engaged us with his wit, humor, kindness and creativity for all his years, and it is time for us to give back.
Your contribution would allow me to be home with him while I take official unpaid family medical leave. I can not do it without your help.
