On Wednesday, April 18, 2018, Reitz High School Senior, Camden Hancock, was involved in an auto accident.

Once transported to the hospital via ambulance, multiple tests have been administered. After the ct scan & MRI a brain tumor was discovered. Doctors are believing the tumor is what caused Camden to have a seizure and ultimately caused the accident.

Camden is scheduled for brain surgery on Friday, April 20, 2018. Doctors are expecting him to make a full recovery.

As you may guess, this is all very unexpected. I’ve reached out to the family and received their blessing on this go fund me account. I know any & all donations are greatly appreciated. Please help me in helping them lighten the weight of expenses. But, more importantly, please include Camden and his family, and the medical staff in your prayers.

09.18.18 Update on Camden Hancock:

I was able to spend some time this afternoon on the phone with Sara Leonard Springer & Scott Springer. She and the family can't keep up with all the inquiries on Camden and asked me to share the following with you.....

Camden is in Rochester, Minnesota, as a patient at Mayo Clinic.

They have met with doctors today, and after reviewing scans performed there, 3 new spots have been discovered on Camden's brain.

There is another appointment scheduled for Thursday to meet with the doctor's and discuss a game plan and to conduct another MRI

As of now, what we know is that 2 of the 3 are operable, and the 3rd is treatable. And it looks as though Camden will be there for a minimum of 7 weeks.

Please continue to cover Camden Hancock and his entire family and medical team in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this new road.

Even though Camden is so far away from home, I'm most certain he can feel all the love, prayers and support for him. He's a pretty special kid.

As soon as we learn more, that will be shared with everyone. In the meantime, please keep those prayers coming.

I received an update from Camden’s family they asked I share with you:

The family continues to ask for prayers for his recovery. It will be a long road ahead of him but he slept comfortably last night and is alert today and going to try and eat and get up and move a little. We are thankful for every single person who has contacted us and prayed for us. ❤️
