Help Carey go to LA to save Martell TV

After a year developing business in Austin, my mentors and customers have told me it's time to take my project to LA--the heart of TV and web series production. This is also my last chance to bring the idea to life.

What I Need:
$2,000 for transportation, lodging and the bare essentials as I conduct two weeks of sales, investment fundraising, promotional interviews and networking to grow my team. Once I am in LA I can raise the $40,000 my startup needs. Your contribution of any amount will help!
Why I Need Your Help:
For more than a year, I've invested all of my personal savings and full-time effort into building the next generation of TV stations. Full info about the company is here. So far, we've made several sales and have commitments for distribution, ads and partnerships. But we don't have enough money to finish the technology.
Since launching MartellTV, I've invested more than $30,000 of my personal savings into development and operations. As a disabled veteran on a fixed income, I don't have anything left to keep the station alive myself. MartellTV is scheduled to make its national debut at PlayList Live (March 21-23 in Orlando, FL) in front of 100,000 people. We have customers willing to buy if we can finish the final round of development on the software. I'm doing whatever it takes to raise the money.
The Plan:
I will spend two weeks in LA in confirmed meetings with major brands, cable TV networks, investors, talent managers, CTO candidates and even the YouTube Creator Space LA headquarters. I'm also hosting a gathering for web series professionals on December 18th.
The entire adventure will be updated via blog and video content at www.careymartell.com. The finished documentary will also be featured during my Playlist Live presentation of MartellTV.
To meet the launch goals and finish the technology, I plan to sell 8 Stations (at $5,000 each) and develop enough traction to attract more investors. I have been greatly encouraged by industry interest in supporting my company.
Because of the presentation timeline and impending market competition, this is truly my last chance to make the idea reality. Thank you for your support.
