This is by far the most challenging and humbling situation I have ever experienced in my life. This is so difficult to do. I hope you will continue to read on.
A few months ago I was involved in an automobile accident.
My car was totaled in the accident and I was rushed to the hospital with facial lacerations and a severe concussion. I recently went through extensive testing as I was having difficulty with short term memory and clear thinking. My Physician has determined more therapy is needed to heal from the concussion.
I had allowed my medical insurance to lapse as the premiums had become too high to keep up with.
Fast forward to today, and I have completely depleted my savings which I had relied on to keep up with my mortgage and regular household expenses.
As a self employed small business owner, I have only my income to rely on to support me through this difficult process...so if I cannot work, the money ceases to come in.
I have always been a positive person and try to inspire others with my online work. Suddenly, I find myself 3 months behind on my mortgage and a stack of unpaid bills. My Doctor suggested more intense therapy to help me with the concussion I suffered and to help get me back on track.
The money will be used first and foremost to avoid foreclosure and become current on my mortgage to allow me to stay in my home where I have found the best healing has taken place. I will also use the money to catch up on all the medical bills and utility bills I have been unable to pay.
The final part of my story, is the funds will allow me to get more extensive therapy for the concussion I suffered in the accident.
I have always been a very hard worker and find it very draining and difficult not to be able to catch up on simple every day expenses which will allow me to stay in my home.
The expenses through this entire ordeal have become overwhelming and insurmountable.
The car accident may have broken me financially, but I refuse to allow it to break my spirit.
I have also come to appreciate that everything in life is precious, and can change for anyone at any time in the blink of an eye.
