Car Insurance & Registration

For most of this year I've been working 2-3 part time jobs to get by. While I was in school I worked 2 part time jobs and used student assistance to make up the difference. After I graduated I got an internship that allowed me to pay my bills and get by in addition to my previous two jobs.
Unfortunately, I was given a single week's notice that I would be losing that internship.
Fearing being stuck far away from family at the end of November/beginning of December, I spent my last paychecks from each of my jobs moving from OR to AL to move in with my boyfriend's family.
I now have a job lined up here in AL. Unfortunately, to accept it I need to transfer my car insurance from OR to AL and get my car registered. My insurance company wants $230.00 to transfer my insurance over, and at the same time have informed me they will be cancelling my insurance- on 12/15/17 -since I told them I moved.
Unfortunately, I don't have this. I hate asking for money like this but if I can get my car insured through AL and get it registered I have a job waiting for me, and I can start being a contributing member of society again.
The goal is set at $450 because I'm not certain how much it will cost to get my car registered. It is a variable cost not a flat one. So I will have to bring my car to the DMV to get it inspected. Once I have enough for the insurance I can go get it inspected and get an idea of how much it will cost to get the tags, and I will update with the correct amount for the goal.
If you can help I greatly appreciate it!
EDIT: After calling my insurance they've given me a new quote that is $230 to change my account over. :(
