Hallo, mein Name ist Domaris, bin 19 Jahre alt und habe noch drei weitere Geschwister. Wir haben schon immer ein einfaches Leben am Rand von Berlin geführt. Vor 6 Jahren verlor ich schon meinen Vater. Meine Mutter arbeitete Tag und Nacht, wann auch immer es ging, um uns ein einigermaßen gutes Leben zu bieten. Sie verzichtete auf Wochenenden und Urlaub, damit wir genug hatten. Jetzt wo sich nach meinem Abitur die ganze Situation entspannt, ich studiere, mein kleiner Bruder ein freiwilliges soziales Jahr leistet, meine Schwester demnächst ihre Ausbildung erfolgreich abschließt und mein großer Bruder sein zweites Kind erwartet … passiert das womit niemand gerechnet hätte! Schockdiagnose: fortgeschrittener Lungenkrebs – inoperabel, Lymphknotenmetastasen. Es ging ihr schon monatelang nicht gut, aber das war unfassbar. Die Therapie, die sie benötigt, wird leider nicht von der Krankenkasse übernommen. Durch die Arbeitsunfähigkeit hat sie natürlich nicht die Möglichkeit das Geld alleine für die Therapie zu erwirtschaften.
Wir schaffen das nicht allein. Deswegen wenden wir uns an euch – bitte helft uns!
Meine Mutter jetzt noch zu verlieren wäre unfair. Sie war für alle da und hat immer alles gegeben um anderen zu helfen. Die Kosten der Therapie belaufen sich auf 30.000€. Das ist eine ganzheitliche Therapie; Infusionen und Heilmittel mit guten Erfolgsaussichten. Die spezialisierte Arztpraxis in Berlin-Karlshorst würde meine Mutter in den nächsten Monaten betreuen.

I´m Domaris, 19 years old and together with my three siblings I am helping my mother Wiebke battle her lung cancer. We´ve always lived a simple life outside of Berlin. Six years ago we tragically lost our father. Our mother worked day and night to provide me, my sister and my brothers with everything we needed to live happy, fulfilled lifes. She stepped back from her own desires and dreams to help us achieve our own in each and every way possible. Now that we have grown up and begun to live our own, independent lifes with me studying, my younger brother experiencing work during a free social year, my sister successfully completing her education and my older brother awaiting his second daughter, my mothers second grandchild, it seems as if faith turned against our mother…the worst thing immagineable for us four happened: Our mother was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer. All of us are shocked, but even though the prognosis is bad due to inoperable metastases, my mom – again – decided to fight. She never gives up. She inspired all four of us not to give up hope. So no: We are joining her, doing what we can to help her fight her illness! Unfortunately the only therapy doctors think of changing the odds is very expensive. The German healthcare system does not pay for it. Due to her illness and our limited income, none of have the money to pay for the therapy. We can´t afford the therapy – but with the help of our family, friends and people who would like to make a change and help us: We have a chance. Our mother Wiebke HAS a chance! We´re not giving up on her after everything she has been through and everything she has done for us – we´re gratefull if you, too, want to give her another chance! The therapy itself costs 30.000€. It is a holistical therapy with infusions, therapeutic remedies und even fair chances of battling her lung cancer for good. The specialized medical practice in Berlin-Karlshorst would take care of her treatment during the next couple of months. Please help us keep our mother! Please help Wiebke, because we love her.
