Cancers financial burden

Jessica is my 36 year old cousin and at this point in time my primary inspiration and reminder that life is a gift.  1.5 years ago Jessica was given the prognosis of 10 years to live - she was diagnosed with  a type of non curable lymphoma.    Determined to cure herself naturally, and to also live life fully while raising her two small children, I've been in awe of her grace and perseverance as she has had multiple operations, seen countless specialists, and researched her options.  Never have I seen her express anything but optimism and courage, her positive outlook has been stunning.  A few months ago Jessica's original prognosis was severely decreased and she has been given 3-12 months to live if she does not pursue treatment.  She has stage 4 Vital Organ Metastatic Non-Hodgkins Follicular Lymphoma.  This is hard for me to believe, because - look at her, she does not look like someone close to death.  For the past 1.5 years I've been praying for a miracle, they happen all the time, and she can be one of them.  Jessica is currently undergoing her only option - trial based, progressive, aggressive and intense treatment that includes chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and a possible transplant.  Her treatment team believes that this path could put Jessica into remission, saving her life and giving her more years on the earth.  I'm raising money for her to help lift the financial burden this currently has, and will continue to have, on her family.  Jessica is currently in San Diego receiving this trial based, specialized treatment while her family lives day-to -day life in Salt lake City, Utah.   Every time they visit  Jessica costs are incurred, Jessica's extended stay living arrangements in San Diego and her daily needs, cost money.  Daniel, her husband and father of their two children, is a teacher and soccer coach - making ends meet is impossible right now.  To be enduring everything that they currently are, while also stressed about money, breaks my heart  even more than it already is.  Jessica   wants to live, she started this journey believing she had a solid decade, at least, and then learned that time is of the essence.  She wants to hear her children's laughter, hold their warm bodies, and witness the sun on their faces - she wants more time being a mother and wife, sister and friend.  If you know her, you know that she is a powerful force, and I want to watch a miracle unfold - she is an excellent candidate for one.  When Jessica was first diagnosed, she spent a considerable amount of time and effort creating her foundation which raises money for cancer patients and their families so that they may seek alternative treatments and support that are not currently covered by insurance.  She had a single, amazingly successful, well attended fundraiser for a friend of hers needing assistance.  Shortly after this event she learned of the drastic change in her prognosis.  Never once have I heard her consider raising money for herself, even though she created a non-profit for this very reason.  I've had to nag for months to make this campaign come about.  Jessica has a very hard time asking for help, she is used to helping.....therefore, I am in front of you asking for her.  Contributing to this cause is one way of joining the positive, energetic matrix that expresses support, hope, love and encouragement.  Thank you for donating, any amount is appreciated.  Jessica wants to thank everyone who has not forgotten about her and her family's fight.  Many have asked how they can help --- this is how we can help lift the financial burden of cancer.
