My name is Christina Garcia and I have stage four ovarian cancer.
I keep thinking about how little we hear about ovarian cancer and how many women are unaware of it.
In my family alone five women have had this type of cancer, Two of them are gone now and i'm still fighting. My mother and sister were one of the lucky ones who caught it in time. The truth is most woman Like myself dont find out till stage three.
September is ovarian cancer awareness month. I Would like to do something to regonize the woman who have survived, fighting or lost their battle with ovarian cancer.
I would like to do a baloon release in September to honor these woman.
