Kayla Afshari Mommy of 2 Autistic

Donation protected

Having two healthy kids of my own I found it extremely hurtful to see two young kids deprived of  their mothers love . A 27 year old mother suffering from a fast spreading cancer her name is ( KAYLA  AFSHARI ) . Unfortunately both Kayla's kids Are autistic and neither are able to talk nor function on their own .

This family has been dealt a very bad hand and they have no one to turn to . Ironically even before kayla’s cancer diagnosis the family was facing huge financial burden related to the kids conditions as well as other life's challenges . After  two years of constant battle with cancer the whole family is falling apart and  now kayla’s cancer is spreading to her spinal cord and her mouth .
I wish I could talk directly to heavens and ask why ?  I feel Belessed for me and my familie's good health but this also carries a heavy guilt and a thought process which is beyond my ability to explain here.
My best option is to ask every one to help this family with any amount possible and honestly I don’t know what else to do or to say.

The family is behind in rent and landlord is threatening to vacate them .
In Order to care for the kids the father can not work full time and the money he makes cant even cover the rent , he is working two part time jobs and he takes care of the kids as best as he can , when the father is at work the kids need special baby sitter that can deal with autistic kids but unfortunately they can’t even efford regular baby sitter let alone specialized ones.

Hi everyone!!! I am an autism proud mom to two wonderful little boys (Cyrus, 6 yrs old & "OPTIN" 4 yrs old). On December 28th, 2016 I was diagnosed with a very rare sarcoma cancer, Leiomysarcoma. It started in my uterus (we thought is was fibroids but after bleeding non stop from July until January with abnormal sized blood clots and 7 blood transfusions we learned through scans that it was much worst) and had then metastasized to my L3/L4 ver On January 14th 2017 i had a radical hysterectomy to remove the large stage 4 Leiomyosarcoma tumors and shortly after started recieving Gem/Tax chemo therapy. I also had a bone biopsy on my spine which confirmed my Leiomyosarcoma was stage IV d had metastasized to my spinal vertebre. My care team then decided to hold my chemo in order to start cyberknife radiology on my spine. After the radiology I continued my chemotherapy of Gem/Tax and Nulasta 24 hrs after the Taxotere. Unfortunatley, I am back in the hospital awaiting spinal neurosurgery because the radiation and chemo are not working as well as planned and the sarcoma has returned and began spreading in my spine.

As you can imagine this entire nightmare has left my husband and I in severe financial crisis and also left my children without their main autism advocate... me. My family is in dire need of help with financial assistance both with transportation to and from my hospital, copayments, after school child care expenses for two autistic non-verbal children, end of life expenses for myself, and we would also like to take a family recovery vacation after i finish surgery and treatment and start feeling better, God willing. If i dont make it to that day I would still like my husband and children to be able to get away and have time together to relax and forget about their daily worries for a couple days and not have to leave them a huge financial and emotional burdon. I would like to thank anyone and everyone who is interested in helping wether its monetary, words of comfort, and or much needed prayer. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOU CONCERN LOVE AND SUPPORT FROM MY FAMILY TO YOURS. Also i would love it if as many people who hear our story spread some awareness about my rare sarcoma, Leiomysarcoma. Because it is so rare not much is known about it and very little is known about how to treat it leaving many of us with a prognosis of on a 16% survival rate after only 5 years. I would like to spread awareness about the disease so others have a better outsome in the future. Leiomyosarcoma has been a curse to me and my family but it could be learned from and possibly help others in the future and that to me would be the biggest blessing. Lets fight against this terrible cancer together! Thank you and God bless!!!
With love and Peace,
