Canada150 Bike Ride for Soldier On

Don protégé
The Celebrate Canada150 Bike Ride is a self-funded, six-province, 45-day, 5000km adventure from Victoria BC to Ottawa ON, by main rider and veteran Ritchie Hughes supported by family and other team members to celebrate the people and beauty of Canada and raise awareness and funds for PTSD.

Soldier On, which helps Veterans suffering from visible or invisible injuries (like PTSD) gain confidence through sport is the sole receipient of 100% of the funds raised here. More than one athlete from this program has said directly to us that “this program has saved my life”—and believe me they meant so literally. This program not only saves lives, but also trains, supports and funds veteran athletes on their way to the Invictus Games. Of note is that there is no administration costs (absorbed by military) for Soldier On so 100% of funds go to directly support the athletes. Your dollars will make a huge difference in these veterans lives!

Upon our arrival in Ottawa on July 1st to celebrate Canada's 150th birthday a cheque for the total of your and others generous donations will be presented to Soldier On.

Help us in raising funds for a very deserving group of unselfish true Canadian heroes--veterans of our Canadian Forces.

This fund is being administered by Peter Lawless, Chef de Mission for Team Canada, Invictus Games.

Thank You!!
