Cam'o _ SDiT Medical Assistance

Meet Cam'o. He is a beautiful 9 month old Golden Retriever that is currently in training to become a Service Dog for someone with mobility needs. He was suddenly struck with a neurological condition that has weekened his muscles and affected his ability to stand and walk, even at short distances. He is currently under the expert care of very capable Specialists in Denver, as they work to restore his abilities and find the cause.

Cam'o is a fantastic pup with great possibilities. As you can imagine, the cost of his care continues to mount and we are trying to keep our heads above water with our medical account. He was born to do great things for someone in need, and we want him to have every chance to fulfill it. Would you consider making a donation to Paw Pals Assistance Dogs (501c3 non-profit organization), to help us on this journey? No amount is too small.

Thank you, and please keep this little guy and those who love him, in your thoughts.

Hi All, it's been awhile since I have updated you on Cam'o's progress. His recovery continues, and he's actually playing with his housemates a bit. He still struggles with bouts of loose stools, and limb weakness, but he is improving every day! He has another appointment with the neurologist next month, and we are hoping for good words from the Doc and a reduction in his medications. We thank you for your continued thoughts and support for this handsome young boy. Keep your fingers crossed and a prayer in your heart.

Good News!! Cam'o was able to come home last night. He will continue his recovery under the very watchful eyes of Dr. Steve Lane and staff, at Rocky Mountain Veterinary Neurology. They will continue to monitor his progress, but feel he needed to be with his people to help his progress. We are still incurring expenses so please give where you can. We appreciate each and every one of our donors and the tremendous outpouring for Cam'o's recovery.

Good Monday morning all. It looks as if Cam'o is turning the corner! He had a very good weekend and was able to go outside at the hospital to play in the grass. He is standing, walking, and seems much more stable on his limbs. Can we get a shout? YAHOO! We cannot thank you enough for the outpouring of support and prayers. It's working! We hope he will get to go back to his puppy raiser family very soon and continue his forward progress. The bills keep mounting, and we so appreciate all the help we are receiving!
