Cameron Yoder's Medical Expenses

Donation protected
On Friday, November 2, Cameron Yoder was playing football for Purchase Line when he was hit by two United defenders and landed on the football. He was in instant pain but, after only staying out a few plays, asked to be put back in. He played offense and defense the entire game, which went into overtime. As soon as the game was over, he broke down and asked to be taken to the hospital.
After arriving at Indiana Regional Medical Center and several tests completed, he was taken by ambulance (Life Flight wasn't flying due to weather) to Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh where he underwent emergency surgery. The blow he took and then landing on the football caused a perforation in his duodenum, which leaked stomach acid throughout his body. Once the surgery was complete, nerve blocks were put in place to help with the pain.
Cameron is a bright young man. He is an IUP Upward Bound Math and Science Scholar, is the senior class chaplain, was elected to the homecoming court, is on the basketball, football, and track teams, and competed on the school's cross-country team and was a competitive cheerleader.
The funds raised will go directly to the expenses Cameron and his family have incurred. No gift is too small. If you are unable to give monetarily, we appreciate prayers.
