Camera Dream

Dear friends,

I was 19 then, tight in my seat towards university. Warm end of summer, no dense clouds cover, the faint chill of the wind reminded me of a new path to take. These are the first things, and they come with absolute clarity, as they build the picture. Yet, no one is in it.

Three choices you had.
Business Management/Production Film, Journalism, Directing/Camera Film.
Since I have studied history and social science in highschool, the only department I could give a pre exam was Business Management/Film Production, as it required only Economics and English.
By the time the decision was made, I already itook five classes from the Image Department, as you were allowed to do so.

Learning about cameras, foto or film, every day something new. But something was not there for me. Left it aside, to find myself five years later, completely amazed that all the puzzle in my head was going to a fabulous end. It didn't. Took five more years to discover that make-up, in fact, let me play with, and on, what I was to discover now.
Mimics.
Joyful, happy, angry, greedy, lustful, fearful mimics.
When you seem to do it, to interpret the real feeling behind the glimpse, then, you are overwhelmed.
Could discover what secret of human beings would like to photograph.

I have a lot more patience for others then I have for myself. That's just the kind of person I am. 'The scratchy thing on the side of the matchbox'

with a family that always worked hard to provide a life, never could afford doing magic and capture it in a image, but they managed to build a image of love and magic.

After almost 13 years in the make-up industry, being either film or photography, need to explore what my soul told me a while ago.
Catch the moment. And let it still.
