Bonjour! I am still raising money to take my French students from Woodrow Wilson High School in Camden, NJ, to Paris for a week next month. Camden, across the Delaware River from Philadelphia in southern New Jersey, is one of the poorest and most dangerous cities in the U.S.
Students from Camden cannot afford to pay for this trip. I have been fundraising for several months to make this dream trip come true for my awesome students so that they can visit Paris and broaden their horizons.
We will see many of Paris' important historic and cultural sites. My students are very excited!
Trip expenses include transportation (bus, plane, train, metro), food, lodging, passports, travel insurance, and tickets for entry into some historic sites/museums for 28 students and chaperones. We need to get closer to our $40,000 goal to cover all the expenses.
Today (3/9) a very generous large company in the South Jersey area told us that it will match $5000 if we raise $5000 more. Please support our cause so that this company will match the $5000 amount!!! Merci beaucoup!
