Dear Family and Friends,
As most of you already know, on February 21st a young boy named Kaden Young was swept from his mother’s arms after their van was sucked into the flooded Grand River in Waldemar.
The support from the community has been incredible and we have witnessed first hand hundreds of volunteers donating their time searching, making food, transporting people and supporting the efforts anyway they can. If there is a silver lining, it is seeing the community come together.
Kaden’s father Cam, is a close family friend of ours and it has been devastating to see him and his family go through this. In spite of the outstanding work the community has done it is very local and we would like to help out by reaching to our broader network to look for financial support as the family tries to keep the lights on as they go through this traumatic experience.
Anything helps. This is too close to home not to do something and your support is appreciated.
