DREAMS ARE COMING TRUE! As many of you know, Gavin was noticed by FC Barcelona's youth academy at a camp in Raleigh , NC last summer. He was invited to Barcelona last November for training at the FCB facility. We started a Go-Fund-Me to help with costs. We were excited, but thought that might be the end of it. Nope. We got an email asking him to come BACK FOR TWO WEEKS THIS SUMMER!!! (June 10- June 24) They cut the talent pool in OVER half AGAIN- so he is one of the 125 kids being asked back out of the original 2,500!!!

The catch? Its even more expensive because it is longer, and we are still paying off the last trip. This is why it is so hard for children without a lot of extra household income to get a chance to play professional sports. Due to NCAA regulations, FCB cannot offer financial assistance to any of the children. We are still beyond broke paying off the last trip, but how do you tell your 12 year old that you can't afford his dream??
Cost breakdown-
$1800- Plane tickets (estimated fly out of RDU- we are open to suggestion to better prices at different airports or if you can donate airline miles, we would take those in a heartbeat!)
$3495- cost for his room, board, and training with FC Barcelona
$990- Mom's room and board- we are open to suggestions, help with this area as well. Own a condo/timeshare in Barcelona?
Money is due by JUNE 1st 2017
I know this adds up to more than $6000, but we just really need that amount to get us thre. Please share this as much as possible. Last time, we donated a good portion to our own campaign- we will not be able to do that this time.
Please help us, and please pray for our baby that we can raise enough to get him there!Put out a jar at work, ask your co-workers to make a kids dream come true!
