Calista's Untimely Passing
Donation protected
Our family has been faced with the unfortunate and untimely death of a young soul taken too soon. My brother's wife, Calista Johnson, who was also my sister in law and my dear friend, left this world on June 7, 2017. She recently gave birth to a brand new beautiful baby girl on June 2, 2017. Only 5 days after giving birth, Calista passed away. It has been a total and complete shock to my entire family. Especially my beloved brother, Allen. In an instance, he goes from celebrating the birth of his newborn baby girl, to mourning the death of his wife in the same week. This is something that we never could have imagined and are in complete shock at how rapidly everything occured. We have recieved an abundance of condolences from kind family and friends, but this tragic event has left us all so lost. At the moment, we are not sure of the cause of her death, but it is being suspected that she developed Eclampsia. It's suspected that because the condition went unnoticed by her physicians and care takers, it took it's toll on her poor body and ended her life. Leading up to her death, she endured excrutiating headaches, dangerously swollen ankles and feet, spasms, a heart rate of 160 and finally a seizure. She went from ICU to being placed on life support until ultimately it was nothing more the medical staff could do to resuscitate her after her heart stopped over 3 times. We are hoping the autopsy report will offer official answers as Allen is now faced with the ultimate challenge caring for a newborn baby girl and an 8 year old autistic son. Calista and Allen shared nearly 10 years of marriage and were both members of the Church of Christ. I am creating this account on behalf of my brother Allen to help raise funding to cover the costs of Calista's funeral, burial and expenses for the daughter and son she left behind. A time like this is an awful tragedy and would be for any family. However, your donation would be of trumendous assistance. We thank you for your sincere condolences. You can also assist us by donating to a very worthy cause. Whatever amount you are financially capable of contributing would truly be a blessing. You are also welcome to send a check directly if you so choose too as others have opted to submit a donation through this method as well. Inquire by emailing. I sincerely thank you in advance as we all have a long road ahead to recovery.
May God bless you all and please keep us in prayer.
