Calgaary4Peru is a project created by a group of peruvians in Calgary with the purpose of raising funds to provide support to the victims of the recent floodings in Peru.
Over 650,000 individuals have been affected by the heavy rains and mudslides along the coast of Peru.
The Peruvian community in Calgary has come together to help those affected by the flooding and landslides caused by the intense rains in the last several weeks and a number of fund raising activities are being organized.
The funds raised through this campaign will be targeted to help the affected areas and those who have lost their homes or are lacking food and drinking water.
The funds raised will be transferred to a non-profit organization such as Caritas del Peru http://www.caritas.org.pe or World Vision Peru http://visionmundial.org.pe/

La comunidad peruana en Calgary se une en ayuda de los afectados por las inundaciones y huaicos causados por las fuertes lluvias que azotan nuestro país desde hace varias semanas.
Hemos iniciado esta campaña para recaudar fondos los cuales serán destinados a ayudar a las zonas afectadas, a traves de organizaciones de ayuda como Caritas del Peru y World Vision Peru.
El Peru necesita la ayuda de todos. Ayudanos a ayudar!
