Caleb has been found!!
From Caleb’s Family:
On Saturday April 21, our beloved son and brother Caleb was wrapping up a missions trip with Servant Leadership Institute in Guatemala when he tragically drowned. Though our hearts are broken, we are so proud of him and thankful for the life that he lived. Caleb loved Jesus, he loved his family, and he loved serving other people. We have been so encouraged by the stories we have begun to hear about Caleb’s impact and influence in others’ lives, and thankful for the kindness, generosity, and support of our community. We thank God for the hope we have of being reunited with our precious Caleb one day, and find strength knowing he is in the best hands. We are also thankful for the family and team we have had in Guatemala looking for Caleb. We are grateful to know that Caleb’s body has been found. We are awaiting further details as to when he will be returning to Canada, as well as when a funeral may take place. We thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers during this time.

Yesterday, after a week of serving down in Guatemala with his SLI team, 19 year old Caleb Weeks was spending a fun restful day with friends on the beach when he was suddenly swept into the ocean and is now with his Heavenly Father.
We are rallying in faith with his Mom & Dad, Sisters, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins that he be quickly found, and that their hearts and minds be protected by Christ as they walk through this shock.
Please surround Caleb’s family in prayer as we wait for news from his Uncle and the Search & Recovery team down in Guatemala.
Friends and Family... in addition to prayer, let’s bless the socks off this family that we love SO much with a show of our financial support as they face all the expenses that surround a tragic event such as this!

The following is a message from Caleb’s family.
“In the event that money raised exceeds the cost of search and repatriation, as well as what insurance will cover, all remaining giving will be committed to a memorial scholarship fund in Caleb’s name.”
