Cal Ripken 10U World Series bound!

Monday, July 23rd, the South Bend East Side 10U Baseball Allstar team won the Ohio Valley Regional championship.  This now gives these boys a once in a lifetime opportunity of going to the Cal Ripken World Series in Vincennes, Indiana!!  We will be representing the 7 states of Ohio Valley, playing against other 10 year olds from across the country. An accomplishment that was done with the blood, sweat and tears of players and parents alike to get to this point. 
While this opportunity is amazing for these
boys and families, it is also a huge expense. The World Series is August 2-11 and because of that, hotel and travel expenses will run at least $2000/ per player.   
East Side prides itself on developing the whole baseball player and giving all kids the opportunity to play the game.
