Meet Cade Slone. He is six years old and a kindergarten student at Eastern Elementary in Georgetown, KY. Always willing to lend a helping hand to his friends, a kind word, and a hug, Cade truly is a special boy with a heart of gold.

The week of Thanksgiving he was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a type of bone cancer, after a tumor was found on his spine. He will be undergoing chemo and radiation treatments for the next 7-9 months, and his family could really use our love and support at this time. His parents Nick and Angie Slone really appreciate all the prayers offered up during this most difficult time in their life. Cade is having a hard time adjusting to the awful effects of chemo, but even in the face of adversity, he shows such amazing strength and bravery, truly an inspiration to all. He has not let the pain crush his spirit or dim his most contagious smile that can light up a room.

Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated to help offset the medical bills, treatment costs, and loss of income for Angie, as she will be staying home with him full-time during his treatment.
