The sisters of the Zeta Kappa chapter of Sigma Sigma Sigma at Montclair State University will be hosting their annual event, Cabaret For A Cause. We are writing to you in hopes that you will make a donation to this event where we will be raising money to help a young boy named Matty.
On May 2nd, 2007 Matty Hannon was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer called Metastatic Ewing’s Sarcoma. Doctors told Matty’s parents he had a 30% cure rate once it spread.
On August 23rd his left arm was amputated. On October 23rd the lesions from his liver were removed. Matty recently turned 9 years old and he is a fighter, but his family needs our help.
He weekly goes to see psychologists to deal with his anxiety and stress induced migranes, OT, and other visits throughout the year that leave out of pocket expenses.
With Matty’s diagnosis they do not know what tomorrow will bring for their son. Matty has been fighting for years and with the help from you, and the Zeta Kappa chapter of Sigma Sigma Sigma, we can help bring awareness and fight back for Matty. With every donation that we receive 100% of the proceeds will be given to Matty and his family. Please help us make our event successful and to support Matty in his fight.
