Mia's Gender Confirmation Surgery

Hiya. I'm Mia, and I'm a male to female transgender person from the UK.
I'm looking for support raising funds for surgical costs. It's going to cost me roughly around £12,000 and quite simply there's no way I'm going to be able to afford that for a very long time. I wasted 25 years of my life pretending to be a boy, and I'm doing anything and everything I can to put that right.

The story for those who have read this far... (keep going, you're awesome ;D )
I've known I was different for as long as I can remember, all I knew for the longest time is that I didn't want to be a boy, like everyone told me, but unfortunately I grew up in a household with a very catholic stepfather and with no clue how to express myself the way that society suggested I act, so yeah, life wasn't easy.
Time went on and I buried those feelings, I hid them deep down and tried to be 'one of the guys'. Long story short; it didn't work. I essentially made myself a social outcast, and then hit the worst point I've ever been in. I had just had one of the best relationships of my life ruined, I was broke, I was jobless. So I stood on the roof of a highrise block of apartments for far too long, debating whether a single step was the best way to solve my problems. Thankfully I made the right choice, and decided if I was going to live I would do it on my terms, and actually live. So that's what I did.
I booked an appointment with my GP and I started on the path of becoming the real me.
I've made a lot of progress during the last 2 years but there are still aspects of my body that no amount of makeup, hormones and my personal efforts can not change. I can't magic away my genitalia, and fat redistribution doesn't change my bone structure, a nose (which I have previously broken several times in prior attempts to appear masculine), a very noticeable trachea (adams apple), and many more male signifiers which still cause me distress on a daily basis.
The only real way to address these issues is surgical. Facial Feminisation Surgery (FFS) to be exact. Something which would finally address the problems with my body that would otherwise go unchanged.
• Rhinoplasty will finally fix the ridge on my nose
• Forehead reconstruction will fix my hairline and brow bone
• Tracheal shave will reduce the size of my adams apple to make it far less noticable
Hitting this goal would cover thecost of my surgery, transportation & accommodation.
