We all love and cherish our pets. they are family and give the unconditional love we give them. Miriam is a 4 year old pet rat named after my late grandmother Miriam Rosa.
We recently dicovered a lump form on Miriam and while it seemed as if she was ok .. eating and drinking just fine still her lovable playful self.
As a cautious parent i took her to my local vet, and we came to the conclusion that she has a mamory tumor something not uncommon in female rats.. since we caught it so early there is a good chance it could be non fatal but in order to move ahead we need to get it removed.
The amount for the removal and byopsy of the tumor comes to 698$ usd and since there are really little to no options for insurance for small and exotic animals im left in a bind.
I live this little girl with all my heart... our other fur babies love her and protect her she is the love of our family and i dont want to lose her just yet.
