Vet Bills-Hamilton Street Cat
Poor Max. Left abandoned in a rooming house for 2 weeks. Other residents had no idea until they heard his faint cries. Max was found sick and dehydrated. An open bag of food was found but no water. Who could do that to such a sweet boy? Due to limited funds, Max was not taken to get veterinarian care. The residents worked hard to get him back to health with the little means that they had, but unfortunately an eye infection developed and grew worse as time went on. While doing TNR work in the area, Hamilton Street Cats was approached and told about this poor fella. We now want to do what is best for Max and get him the proper care he needs. Due to the many spays and neuters required to get the local cat colony under control, we are asking for assistance in raising enough money to get Max's eye properly cared for to ease his pain and suffering. Unfortunately, Max's eye will have to be removed. This is a very expensive procedure but we can not turn our backs on this sweet loving boy. Are you able to help? Even a small amount helps to reach our goal. Thank you.
Please keep sweet Max in your prayers. He is scheduled to go to the clinic tomorrow where he will undergo surgery to remove his badly infected eye. We are so appreciative and thrilled that he will finally get the much needed treatment and care he deserves. We will keep you all posted. Good luck Max!
Hallelujah!!!! We have received some astonishing news…giving us new hope in humanity. After seeing Hamilton Street Cats plea for sweet ol’ Max, a wonderful caring vet has stepped forward to provide their services free of charge!! We are so grateful for all the generous donations that have been pledged and wanted to give you the opportunity to decide if you would like your monies returned or placed in our fund to continue the TNR work we are currently doing in the Hamilton area. As with Max, we currently have others in need of medical assistance (outside of their spay and neuters). Many of the cats are experiencing upper respiratory issues and medications are currently needed. Thank you for your consideration and kindness! For refunds please contact us.
