Belize Medical Missions Trip July 2018
Our Story
This year, my Medical Practice is celebrating our 20th Anniversary. What kind of party should we have?
How can we memorialize this milestone?
After much thinking, instead of celebrating by treating my staff to a luxurious dinner party, I have decided to "GIVE BACK." Our whole office team, 4 doctors, 8 medical assistants and 12 ancillary staff will travel to the small town of San Pedro, Belize to partake in a medical missions trip in July 2018.
Belize, where the poverty level is 40% of the population, has NEVER had a dermatology and vein care practice come to help these impoverished people.
We have been approved by the Ministry of Health of Belize to work in this small town of 15,000 people and need to raise over $50,000 to cover our expenses, medical supplies and equipment.
My staff and team have sacrificed having Christmas office parties for the past two years and instead we are putting this money towards this medical missions trip.
