Payment processing fees vs. platform fees

Please note that payment processing fees are different from platform fees.

While GoFundMe charges fundraisers a 0% platform fee for organizers, standard processing fees to GoFundMe are charged by payment processors like WePay and PayPal. Recipients are charged a small fee (2.9% + $.30 per transaction) to allow for credit card processing and the secure transfer of funds.
