C. T. Weber Secretary of State 2018

I am the Peace and Freedom Party candidate for Secretary of State. My statement in the Voter Information Guide was over $6,000.  The statement talks about how democracy is an illusion for many of us. The number of candidates allowed on the general election ballot has been reduced to only two. We promote proportional representation so that various constituencies would be represented in the state legislature and U.S. House in proportion to the number of votes received. We also proposed getting big money out of our elections because it has corrupted the whole system by equal public funding. In addition, I have been promoting secure and transparent elections by setting up publicly owned, open-source paper ballot voting systems. It is time to expose this rigged, legally rigged, system and turn it on its head by creating a movement.
The ballot statement has been mailed to 17,000,000 plus voters, many of who will learn about proportional representation and how it works. Hopefully, this will grow the movement for electoral reform. I am late in asking for help in paying for this program. The state charges $25 a word for this statement, so if you could buy a few words that would be great. But any amount would be helpful. By sharing the cost, we can do this as a group dedicated to electoral reform. I thank you very much.
