Help the Kuncio's after the fire

A displaced family in need of a home
I am writing you to inspire you to help a Fort McMurray family, who like many families lost their home and lifetime possessions to the wildfires this past May.  Their names are Clay & Stefanie Kuncio, and they have a 9-year-old son, Cohen.  Clay grew up in Fort McMurray, and works at Syncrude as an electrician, and both him and Stefanie worked extremely hard to purchase their home outright.  They purchased the home 4 years ago for $635,000.  They also recently invested in renovations in a new kitchen and developing their basement, and fully furnished the home to now see it all destroyed.  On top of all this the Kuncio's are displaced, and now living in Edmonton paying rent on a home in the short term, while desperately wanting to return to their home town of Fort McMurray.

Imagine seeing your whole life go down in flames?
It's sad in all cases for any family to lose their home with everything they've ever owned in it, but the Kuncio's
story is unique.  You see, they recently found out their home insurance lapsed based on a clerical error, leaving them with a $800,000+ of possessions and property investments that is now burnt to the ground.

This is heartbreaking alone, but to top that off, you then find out that no one is going to help you financially to rebuild it, and reclaim your intial investment.

Let's help the Kuncio's rebuild in Fort McMurray
So you have no home to go back to, but you want to return to your roots.
What do you need immediately to do this?

The Kunzio's need to raise money for a deposit on a new home and more ...
Clay & Stefanie Kuncio obviously don't mind working hard, and it showed in their home that now is in ashes  See pictures of the Kuncio's home Before and After

Having invested all their family had in that property, they need to get into a new home, furnish it, and now start to pay a monthly mortgage payment.

As they owned their home outright and now it is destroyed, the Kuncio's are not used to paying a $3000 mortgage payment. However, this is a reality that Clay and Stefanie are willing to accept to regain their life and a home back in Fort McMurray!

What the Kuncio's need as soon as possible
$140,000 which is a 20% deposit on a new home of equal value ($700,000 purchase price, $560k remaining balance)
$36,000 to pay their mortage for year one and get back on their feet
$24,000 to furnish a new home and start again
___________
$200,000 for the Kuncio's just to get back to normal

As soon as they can raise this money, they can make a new home, and get their son Cohen back to school in Sept 2016 ideally.

What this means to the Kuncio's?
To just have a place they can call home is the most special gift we could give this family.  Clay, Stefanie and Cohen are already so thankful to see this GoFundMe page up and running to help them.  As a Fort Mac raised family, they know other families personally in need and vow that if they raise more then the goal they will give the excess money personally to people they know that also need help with the huge losses of the Fort McMurray wildfires.

The Kuncio family thanks you for reading, and watching the videos of their heartbreaking story.  They appreciate any help you can give.
