Transport of 300+ Dumpsite Bunnies
CURRENT UPDATE:
5/30/2018 Transport #4 is complete and we are working towards raising funds for transport #5.
5/19/2018 Transport #4 is actually going out today and we just barely have enough to fund it. Transport #5 is going out the end of June and we have no funds at this time. Please share and please ask your friends to share our link. We thank you and the Vegas dumpsite bunnies thank you!
5/6/2018 Transport #4 is set for May 20th with an early June transport in the making. We don't have the funds yet for the June transport but somehow with all the amazing people who support our efforts and these poor buns, we continue to find a way to make it happen. Thank you for your support, it means the world to our group and we cannot save them without your help.
4/12 Transport #3 is now completed and our transporters trip expenses paid for their amazing work and dedication (9 days of volunteer driving). Over 250 bunnies so far have found their way out of Las Vegas at a cost of $7400 of the $10,000 we have raised. We are working on Transport #4 now and then we will be out of transport money to date. And unfortunately we still have A LOT left to find homes.
Just so you know how we still have so many, 2 of the 10 bunnies we just rescued this week, one female had 7 babies and another one had 8. That's 2 to 17 in a matter of 3 days. That IS one of the main reasons we still have A LOT of bunnies to find homes for but had we not rescued the moms, they would have been born at the hell hole with a not great chance of survival. 4/6 Transport #3 left Vegas yesterday with 37 more Vegas Dumpsite bunnies. Currently planning transport # 4. Thank you everyone for your support.
3/20 4:15 PM St. Louis Time (Van is a little more than 5 hours out of St. Louis) - Transport now completed
MAJOR TRANSPORT #2:
Our van leaves tomorrow and includes 104 bunnies currently to 13 rescues across the US. We will stop in Denver, CO and then St. Louis, MO where 3 drivers will end up departing taking bunnies all over the Midwest and East Coast rescues. Go Bunderground Railroad!!!
Please be aware that we are also doing small transports in addition to these large ones. Anything to give our friends a chance at being someones loving pet.
MAJOR TRANSPORT #1:
The current transport is now 115 bunnies (originally we planned up to 75) and it included 20 rescues, each taking an average of 5 or 6 bunnies each. Today (Sunday) it's headed for it's last 3 rescues! We are working on at least 3 more transports ASAP with all amazing support we are getting now from rescues all across the country. Stacey and I always DREAMED that we could do this but we always wondered if we could have these buns. THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR HELPING TO SAVE OUR BABIES!!!! WE LOVE THEM SOOOO MUCH!!!!

Local rescue groups have been working with All Creatures Sanctuary and founder Dr. Nikki Smee (pictured below) to help rescue bunnies out of the two main bunny dumpsites in Las Vegas. Currently we have a transport scheduled for arrival in Las Vegas between February 21st and 24th which will transport up to 75 rabbits out of our sanctuary and foster homes. Currently we have over 30 rabbits pledged from 11 different rescues along the route from Las Vegas to Denver to St. Louis and then onto several rescues on the East coast. This transport will enable us to rescue many other rabbits from our dumpsites who are in imminent danger. Any funds over our goal will be used for future transports and care as there are currently hundreds of bunnies that we are in the process of helping. All Creatures Sanctuary Facebook Page Bunnies Matter Donation Page Notice: These funds will be distributed directly to our volunteer drivers by Dave Schweige of Bunnies Matter in Vegas Too. Our drivers provide receipts to us for their inncurred costs. If no more transports are required and any funds are left, the remaining proceeds will go to All Creatures Santuary.
