Flying Books to Indonesia
Books open opportunites to dream, to imagine, to inspire, and to do the impossible things. While most of us have access to great-quality reading books, many kids in rural areas of Indonesia don't even dare to dream about reading books due to financial circumtances. Many schools' libraries in Indonesia rarely have collection of inspiring books like "Little Prince", "Dr. Seuss", "Handa's Surprise", "Roald Dahl", etc. It's not surprising the litteracy in Indonesia is still a problem.

We are Dedeh and Elyas, two young Indonesians living in New York. We are planning to back to Indonesia in TWO MORE MONTHS :) !! We don't want to come home empty handed. That's why we want to fly books and give them for free to many kids through libraries in rural areas of Indonesia. We call this project BUKU TERBANG (Flying Books).
We hope to raise as much as $5,000.00 before March 15th, 2017. This fund will be used to buy at least 500 reading books that we will fly to Indonesia.

As we already had a chance to enjoy reading books (thanks to New York), we do really hope to spread the joy with many kids in Indonesia. We also want you to experience the joy of giving insipirations to them.
