Build The Tanaina Infant Space

Tanaina Child Development Center first opened in 1979 at the University of Alaska Anchorage thanks to a community of dedicated parents, faculty, staff, and students.
In May 2015, Tanaina received an unexpected eviction notice from the University of Alaska Anchorage that ended the 36-year relationship.
Since then, Tanaina remained operational at temporary spaces provided by St. Mary's Episcopal Church and in Alaksa Regional Hospital building C, while building their new home.
Finally in August of 2017, over two years later Tanaina moved to their new facility in building E of Alaska Regional Hospital. Tanaina is once again a thriving Child Development Center, serving 90 Anchorage Families!
However our work is not done. Tanaina has a space dedicated to an infant center that is undeveloped. Licensed, quality, infant care is in high demand in our community. We need your help to fufill this need and make it a reality!
Tanaina hopes to raise 150,000 by May 1st, to begin construction.
