Buford Baseball field Dugouts Fund

Calling all Buford Bulldogs and all others willing to help a great cause!!

Are you ready to help breathe new life back into the Buford community? The old Buford Elementary baseball diamond is being resurrected for use again. Because of the limited ball fields in the surrounding Highland County area a movement has begun to get the field back up and running so that teams can not only practice there but have games too.

Many of us have fond memories of elementary school there, playing on the playground with friends, and on the weekends playing baseball games and tournaments on that field. There was nothing better than the sights and sounds of baseball bats hitting balls, hometown crowds cheering, and the hustle and bustle in Buford during game days. So why not do our part to bring some of that back, right? We have started this page to raise money for the completion of two new dugouts, misc. needed repair of some blacktop, and whatever else needed to make and keep this old gem of a ballpark up and running again. Bonus!! For every dollar raised local company Bob Roades Properties will match it up to $1,500
