We are two grade 12 students attending Dryden High School; in our Equity and Social Justice class we are doing a social action campaign. As part of our campaign we are organizing a benefit concert to raise money for the Syrian Refugee family coming into Dryden. We have had many people say they won't be able to attend but would still like to help out. The money will be put towards the family's trust fund, as we need $25,000 to start them off in Canada. We would like to have the funds by December 28, although we will gladly accept them past this date.  This is very important for us, it shows how strong our community is and how in the worst conditions people can band together to make good come of it. Any amount is accepted, we thank you for taking the time to allow us to share our drive.
