Help pet parents afford vet costs

Donation protected
I am setting up a GoFundMe for the angel fund at our local vet clinic. After Marshall passed, I was so thankful that my vet clinic did so much to help us through this difficult time. I would like to keep his gofundme active so that anyone who would like to donate can do so and all donations will go to the angel fund.

The angel fund is a program that helps pet parents afford vet care through donations to our local vet clinic. It means so much to a pet parent who cannot afford to care to be able to get through donations. Please consider donating and read Marshalls story.

My cat, Marshall, has been with me since he was 1 and 1/2 and he's 13 now. He's the sweetest, moodiest, purring machine and he adores me and the feeling is mutual.

When he was maybe 5, he had two urinary blockages which used my credit up but I'm not complaining. He fought through it and was still as happy as can be.

About a month ago he got a minor bite from our other cat and got an infection which turned into him needing surgery and since then, his incision won't heal.

He's been on 3 antibiotics and natural medicine but to no avail. The vet said two days ago the only option now is surgery again to clean up the wound.

The first surgery costs us our savings and this one is unpredictable in cost. Between $300-$600.

He's still happy, loving, adoring, crazy for chicken treats and loves spooning when I'm sad.

I was severely depressed and suicidal a lot throughout my life and he was the only thing I lived for because he taught me that I was lovable and needed.

I don't want to give up on him. If he were suffering, I wouldn't even consider this surgery, but I know he can recover.

Please share this post and my GoFundMe page.

I feel so embarrassed making a page because it feels like charity or something but we're selling our belongings to try to raise the money by Monday.

I really, sincerely appreciate you all taking the time to read this.

We had to put our 15 year old cat down a year ago due to illness and losing another cat is hard to fathom.

We wouldn't hesitate if he were suffering, but he's happy, loving, eating and personality-wise, he's great.

Our pets are our kids. We most likely can't have our own children and treat our animals like our own children.

Marshall is our lovey-dovey and purrs at the first site of humans. He loves chicken treats, catnip kickers, and being under blankets and the girls at every vet he's been to fall in love because he's such a purring machine!
