At the age of 14 my I remember laying in my bedroom on the floor with a pair of scissors hitting the floor in anger. My father came in the room and ask me what's wrong? I told him I wanted to help my mother get off drugs and stop prostituting.
I'll never forget what he said. "You can't help your mother until you help yourself. A life purpose came from that talk, I learned the power of Determination.
Godly Image Apparel has been my passion and purpose since I was incarcerated at the age of 20. I was determined to change my path and future and help other people change at the same time.
Godly Image Apparel has made great strides in one and a half years beyond my expectations. I've been interviewed on TV and radio stations, had fashion magazines deals and spreads along with being interviewed for two newsletters, Recently I was featured in the St. louis American News Paper business section on the front page.
This blessing has brought great notoritey and new customers to my business. But in the midst of this comes struggle. Iv'e had constant struggle with manufactures for my product defect printing, late filled orders, disrespect, many countless delays. I'll admit some problems were my fault. I had to learn how to budgit my business finances separately from my personal bills.
With that being said. The demand from new customers and a chance to be in two stores. I felt the push of God to get my own machines, step out on the water of faith and cut out the middle man. This will allow much needed money to grow in my business. Stock up on product merchandise, to hire an accountant, get an assistant, handle more customers from city to city. Also, im currently working on my book 'DON'T LET YOUR STRUGGLES BULLY YOUR DREAMS' (DETERMINED). Basically, I won't have to wait on any body to finish my product I will be making them myself.
I ask you if you've ever had a dream and you come from a life of struggle. Or maybe you don't but you would love to see a product that helps people be free go world wide. We can be freed from depression, insecurity and suicidal thoughts. How? by knowing our true God given identity. I came a long way from a street thug and I wan't to help many change like I have.
