On Sunday June 2nd, we unexpectedly lost our dear friend and colleague Brooke 'Brooklyn' Weltzin. Brooke is survived by her daughter Alexis 'Lexi' and a large extended family. As the co-workers and friends of Brooklyn, we are raising money to support Lexi in this tremendously difficult time and into the future. All money will go directly to Lexi and be allocated under the guidance and supervision of her aunt Stacey for health care coverage, school and general expenses, and to start a college fund .

A little more about Brooklyn from the people who were lucky enough to spend every day at work with her: 

Brooke was notorious for giving away her lunch, snacks, etc to people in the office that needed a bit to eat or forgot to bring something from home. She offered rides to others, looped people in on community service opportunities and was always thinking of ways to make someone’s day. For her, serving others wasn’t an inconvenience or a burden it was how she was wired and it was life-giving for her. She was a walking heart who put everyone before herself. She was always there for everyone. The thing she would want most would be for Lexi to be taken care of. If we can do anything to honor her memory, it is that.
